Team 1 started in 2007 with one location, a lot of hustle, and a simple promise: do the work so well that suppliers never have to worry about it. That promise still runs the place.
A family business, two miles from the world's largest retailer
In 2007, Mark and Lori Lunsford started Team 1 in Bentonville, Arkansas. The idea was simple: brands selling into the nation's biggest retail and club channels needed a partner who could store, pack, and ship their product with the accuracy retail demands, and do it right down the street from the buyers.
They built the company one shipment at a time. No shortcuts, no runaround, and a phone that a real person answered. Suppliers noticed, and they stayed.
Almost twenty years later, Team 1 runs a 100,000-plus square foot facility and handles everything between the dock and the shelf. What has not changed is the standard the founders set on day one.

The beginning
Mark and Lori Lunsford open Team 1 in Bentonville, Arkansas, two miles from the world's largest retailers, with one mission: do the warehousing and supplier work so well that brands never have to think about it.

Earning the shelf
Word spread. Suppliers to the nation's biggest retail and club channels came to Team 1 for storage, replenishment, and retail execution, and stayed because the work was accurate, on time, and documented. Partners like Danone, Blue Buffalo, and Nouveau became long-term relationships.

A full-service operation
Team 1 grew into a 100,000-plus square foot facility and expanded well beyond storage into co-packing, kitting, PDQ and pallet displays, IRC coupon work, and e-commerce fulfillment. If it happened between the dock and the shelf, Team 1 could handle it.

The next chapter
After building Team 1 over nearly two decades, Mark and Lori retired as Founders. The next generation, Michael, Lyndsey, and Tyler, stepped forward to lead, carrying the same promise the company was built on.

Mark founded Team 1 in 2007 on a simple belief: if you do the supplier work better than anyone else, the rest takes care of itself. He built the company from the ground up in Bentonville and set the standard the team still runs on.

Lori helped build Team 1 from day one, keeping the operation accurate, organized, and honest. For years, customers knew her as the detail behind every flawless shipment, and her care for people and precision is part of the company's DNA.
